"General Purpose Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene (BOPE) Film" group standard publicity and implementation meeting and industry exchange meeting were successfully held in Nanjing

Recently, the "General Purpose Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene (BOPE) Film" group standard publicity and implementation meeting and industry exchange meeting were successfully held in Nanjing. This meeting was chaired by Fan Yan, Secretary General of the Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Film Special Committee of the China Plastics Association (referred to as: BOPP Special Committee). It included representatives from some domestic film manufacturers, raw and auxiliary materials, equipment, testing institutions, universities and institutes, etc. About 90 representatives attended this meeting.

 

This group standard is jointly formulated by 16 industry enterprises, testing institutions, universities and institutes, among which our company is the main drafting unit. At the meeting, Vice President Pan Jinghong of our company, on behalf of the group’s standard formulation team, publicized and interpreted the BOPE group standards. He introduced the background of the standard and the key issues that need to be solved during the formulation process. He also explained in detail the standard structure, core content, applicability, advancement, etc., and conducted detailed discussions on the implementation of the group's standards in the entire industry chain. Clear.

 

In the subsequent exchange session, Vice President Pan Jinghong delivered a keynote speech on the current development status and future development trends of BOPE films on behalf of our company. Taking our company's leading experience in R&D and production of BOPE films as an example, he focused on analyzing the difficulties encountered in the development of the BOPE film industry, the technical problems that still need to be solved, and the direction of future research and development, providing guidance for relevant production companies that may be about to enter this industry. Enterprises in the industry have provided useful information and pointed out the direction for the healthy development of the BOPE film industry.

At the meeting, Tian Yan, vice chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association and director of the Plastic Products Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products, delivered a speech. She believes that the launch of the group standard "Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene (BOPE) Film for General Purposes" has filled the domestic gap in this standard and is of great significance to the development of the industry. During the formulation process, Deguan took the lead in initiating and actively participating, and it was officially released and implemented in less than a year, which is a commendable achievement. At the same time, colleagues in the industry gathered together to discuss the market application and future development trends of BOPE as a new green and environmentally friendly packaging film material, and strengthened the promotion and implementation of the published group standard "General Purpose Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene (BOPE) Film". It is a milestone in using standards to promote technological progress and high-quality development in the BOPE film industry.
